Do you want a course that supports your career exploration and will help prepare you for internships and professional opportunities?
We are offering 3 classes this Spring semester. Class spots are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline to register is September 18, 2023. (This course is for sophomores only)
The class will be held Wednesdays 1-2 p.m., September 20th-October 25th, 2023 in the Career Development Center, 6th floor, 216 Tremont. Questions? Email careers@emerson.edu.
You will go beyond the scope of an online resume review or 30-minute advising appointment. This course will provide a strong foundation of skill-building in the areas sought by employers hiring new graduates. Here are the career topics that we will go into in depth:
- Building and marketing your skills to potential employers
- Strategic resumes, targeted cover letters, polished portfolios
- Bringing your best and being yourself at an interview
- Telling your career story and articulating your goals
- Networking as a way of life
