How did you find your internship?
Carina found her internship on Handshake was also referred by a friend who she works with at Index Mag on campus.
How long is your internship?
Carina started her internship on January 11th and it’s going until May 31.
Where is your internship taking place?
Carina’s internship is taking place entirely online.
What is your daily routine like?
Carina logs online every shift and her supervisor will give her social media tasks. She also helps with editorial assignments, helping with syndication and translation for other articles.
What’s your favorite part of your internship?
Carina enjoys communicating with her coworkers through slack as she finds it to be the best way to communicate with people in the workplace.
What is something you wish you learned before taking on this internship?
Carina wishes she learned to have more fun with her internship prior to taking it because she feels like she is hard on herself sometimes.
What are some essential skills someone in your field should have?
Carina values good communication skills and having a balance of work and play.
Why did you decide to take this internship?
Carina really wants to have a career in the fashion industry and thought this internship would be a great way to get her foot in the door.
