Summer Internships & Entry-Level Jobs Open at Digitas! (Anders Croft; 12.14.19):
DigitasLBi is one agency that’s mastered the art of digital storytelling. And now they’re looking for you to join their team this Summer with opportunities for current students and recent grads. But there are a few things you should know before you apply.
1. Know Who They Are
This is probably the most obvious point of this entire article but it’s something worth saying for those who might be unfamiliar with Digitas.
Describing themselves as a “data-inspired agency,” Digitas is an advertising agency focused on the meeting place between creativity and insights. They’re a group that’s worked one on one with brands like Sony, Whirlpool, and Buick to develop strategies that are as impressive as they are thought-provoking. In short: They’re masters at finding super unique approaches to even the most complex marketing problems.
You should also know that their opportunities are incredibly competitive given their impressive reputation in the marketing world. Applicants should be ready to go above and beyond to stand out as Digitas looks for the most motivated candidates the develop into successful marketing experts. Keep reading for some tips on how you can prepare for applying!
(Also, I should mention that they’re pretty close by with an office right down the street from Paramount!)
2. Know What You’re Applying To:
If you haven’t already looked at their listings, Digitas is currently looking for applicants for both their Intern and Full Time tracks. Each of these programs looks to develop young marketing professionals into experts in their field through hands-on work and impressive mentorships. Intern Track
Our intern track is designed to provide smart, ambitious rising college seniors with an opportunity to work for a global agency with amazing clients and some of the best talent in the industry. This crash course in marketing provides interns with hands-on advertising experience, including a capstone summer project that invites interns to bring their creativity and expertise to the table. Interns will be guided by mentors and given access to the latest industry trends. They’ll enjoy getting to know the DigitasLBi community through outings, all-staff events, and a Community Service Day where we get messy while doing some good. The deadline for the internship application is January 31st.
Full Time Track
For this program, we choose the best and brightest recent grads who are passionate about producing amazing advertising. We give them the tools they need to succeed and the opportunities to do so. We believe in hands-on learning and development, so participants will be given access to industry data and trends as well as assigned mentors to provide coaching and guidance. As active members of the DigitasLBi team, Campus Program participants will bring fresh, smart perspectives to share with our clients and help us discover new ways to raise our game even higher. The deadline for the full-time application is January 31st
3. Get Prepared!
