Emerson College’s Career Development Center is proud to announce two upcoming Virtual Internship Fairs happening in Spring 2021. Join us this March as we kick off a School of the Arts Virtual Fair, 3/16, as well as a School of Communication Virtual Fair, 3/18!
About the Fairs
Our upcoming virtual internship fairs will once again be hosted and powered by Handshake’s Virtual Fair system. This format allows students to connect with employers through a mixture of 1-on-1 and group video sessions while also using features native to Handshake, such as direct messaging and the ability to directly apply to jobs and internships.
Students will have the opportunity to sign up for video sessions by exploring employers’ meeting schedules ahead of the fair. You will be able to sign up as soon as an employer has set their schedule for the day. Please note that while some employers’ schedules are live already, we may see updates from others up to the week of the fair.
Once you’ve joined a session, you will need a functioning webcam and microphone to fully participate. Handshake recommends using Google Chrome and Firefox for the best experience during sessions. You can explore the current fair meeting schedules at the links below…

Preparing for the Fairs
Our office will once again host a pair of prep sessions for students ahead of the fair. You can sign up for these sessions at the links below, but we also recommend connecting with our office for an appointment for the best preparation.
We will also be sharing more prep content throughout the month of February as we look toward March 16th and 18th!
