The Smithsonian Institution Fellowship Program – Expected Due Date: November 2020This is for graduate and pre-doctoral students only.   The Smithsonian Institution Fellowship Program offers opportunities for independent research or study related to Smithsonian collections, facilities, and/or research interests of the Institution and its staff. Located: Washington, DC
ESPN Production Operations Associate Program- Expected Due Date:Rolling AdmissionsESPN’s training program comes in three 8-month job rotations where you’ll gain exposure and hands-on experience across their Production operational areas. It’s a great opportunity to gain specialized knowledge, work with the latest technology and take your career to the next level in the sports communications field. There are various links to programs and internships in different departments, including marketing, technology, corporate, cross- platform media and content and accessibility, which are posted on a rolling basis. Located: Bristol, CT
Kraft- Heinz University Program– Expected Due Date: Rolling AdmissionsThe Kraft Heinz University Relations programs exist in all zones across the Kraft Heinz globe and are a critical talent pipeline for the organization. While the program, you work as a trainee in the corporation in the corporate management, MBA general management, manufacturing management and business development departments. Job listings for this program are posted on a rolling basis in facilities throughout the country and the world. Simon and Schuster Associates Program-Expected Due Date: Rolling AdmissionsThe Simon & Schuster Associates Program is a 12-18 month entry-level rotational program and a cornerstone of our commitment to promoting Diversity within the publishing industry. Simon & Schuster Associates have the opportunity to work closely with either the Adult or Children’s divisions which will offer unique opportunities for individual guidance and mentoring. Siemens Graduate Program- Expected Due Date: January 2020 (some opportunities rolling)The two- year post- grad opportunity will place you in one of the company’s 1700 locations worldwide, where you will gain the necessary skills in working with a personal mentor in order for a potential job at the company. Participants will be actively integrated into the day-to-day functions of the company and will “learn by doing”.There are various applications for different country locations of work posted individually, so check the link to the application to see where in the world you could possible work. NBA Summer Internship Program– Expected Due Date: January 2020The NBa summer Internship Program is a hands-on opportunity for enrolled college students and new graduates to build their work experience and learn the behind-the-scenes operations of the NBA league office. Over the 10-week program, summer interns participate in a series of events and activities exposing them to the many facets of the NBA’s business, including the WNBA and NBA G League. Applicant placement within an NBA department is based on the NBA’s business needs, as well as the candidate’s interest, experience, leadership skills and academic achievement. All positions are located at the NBA league offices in either New York City (midtown Manhattan) or Secaucus, New Jersey.Located: New York/ New Jersey
NBCUniversal Page Program – Expected Due Date: February 2020The NBC Page Program is a 12-month paid fellowship at the NBCUniversal’s studios in New York City and Universal City, California. Over the course of one year, pages gain exposure to various areas of the NBCUniversal world. The next application wave begins in February of 2020.Located: New York, NY & Universal City, CA
Paramount Pictures Page Program –  Expected Due Date: February 2020“The Paramount Pictures Page Program aims to provide talented individuals with the hands-on experience they need to be successful in the entertainment business. This prestigious program serves as an ongoing talent pipeline for Paramount, and while it is not a guarantee, more than 60% of graduates have moved into full-time positions within the Paramount family.”Located: Los Angeles, CA
Financial Times Graduate Program– Expected Due Date: February 2020The financial times graduate program offers trainee programs in both the editorial and technology departments for journalism students. Current staff help the trainees navigate working there as they learn the skills necessary for a global new organization. There are multiple programs and internships linked through the website, with the Paul Mclean Graduate Trainee Program being the most common application for entry level positions.Located: United Kingdom

Minorities in Broadcasting Training Program – Expected Due Date: March 2020This paid 6 – 9 month program provides broadcasting career opportunities for minorities in broadcasting across the country. Disney Launchpad Shorts Incubator – Expected Due Date: Spring 2020An opportunity for up to six (6) directors from underrepresented backgrounds to present diverse perspectives, through the production of original, live-action shorts for proposed initial exhibition on the upcoming streaming service, Disney+.  The submission period will likely be in Spring 2020 for 2021, check out their web page and join their mailing list to stay in the loop.Located: Virtually 
NBCUniversal Writers on the Verge – Expected Due Date: May 2020NBC Writers on the Verge (or NBC Writing Fellowship and NBC Fellowship Program) is a 12-week program focused on polishing writers and readying them for a staff writer position on a television series. The program will consist of two night classes weekly at NBC in Universal City, CA. Past participants have gone on to series including “The Blacklist,” “Marlon,” “Community”, “Burn Notice”, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”, “White Collar”, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”, “Chicago Fire” and “Parenthood.”Located: Universal City, CA
Disney/ABC Writing Program – Expected Due Date: June 2020 During the Program, the primary goal is to staff new writers. The Program also provides engagement with executives, producers, and literary representatives, designed to facilitate relationships that are vital in developing a television writing career.   Applications for 2020 opened and closed in June 2019, expecting a similar timeline for 2021. Nickelodeon Writing Fellowship – Expected Due Date: July 2020The 9 month Nickelodeon Writing Program offers emerging television writers from around the world a paid opportunity to develop their craft and launch their careers. While in the Program, writers hone their skills, build a professional network and gain real-world experience in writers’ rooms for our critically acclaimed live-action and animated shows. The application period has not yet been announced, so make sure to sign- up for their mailing list and follow the program’s social channels to stay informed. Located: Burbank, CA

Sotheby’s Institute Training Programme-Expected Due Date: October 2021Sotheby’s, the only publicly traded global art auction house, is offering exceptional undergraduate seniors and master’s degree graduates the opportunity to participate in a unique twelve month paid training programme in the New York or London offices. This programme aims to develop participants’ skills and experiences to prepare for long-term opportunities in both the art specialist and business aspects of the organization. Located: New York/ London, UK
Walt Disney Television Directing ProgramExpected Due Date: October 2021The selective two-year program provides participants with shadowing opportunities for executive producers and producing episodic directors of selected ABC Television Network shows. Shadowing assignments include pre-production, shooting, and/or post-production. The submission period opens in October of odd calendar years.Located: Los Angeles, CA area
CBS Corporation Writers Mentoring Program – Expected Due Date: October 2021This program is geared towards opening doors for aspiring writers. The Program provides two mentors per participant, weekly workshop-style meetings with CBS show runners and executives, writers-room observation, and support. The 2019-2020 period is now closed, though you can check back on their website periodically to stay updated for the 2021 term. Located: Los Angeles, CA
FBI Presidential Management Fellows Program – Expected due Date: October 2021The PMF Program is a flagship leadership development program at the entry level for advanced degree candidates that may be cultivated into potential government leaders. The 2020 submission deadline has passed in early October, so it can be estimated the 2021 process will occur around the same time next year, with the finalists announced that December. Located: Washington, DC
