It’s hard to believe the fall semester is about to start! While we hope you had a great summer, we also want to make sure you are ready for your fall internship. If you have secured an internship and would like to earn credit for it, the deadline is fast approaching.
Here’s a quick overview of what you need to do in order to gain approval for a credit-bearing internship:
- If you’re seeking 2, 4, or 8 credits for an internship, submit your experience proposal on Handshake by August 30th.
- After you submit your experience proposal on Handshake, your form must be reviewed and approved by at least 2 approvers, which can take up to 2 weeks.
- The form must be signed by all approvers and you must be enrolled in the 499 (undergrads) or 690 (grads) class within your major or program by September 11th in order to complete an internship for credit this fall.
