Rebecca Podos is a 2012 alumna from the WLP program and is currently a young adult writer and literary agent at Rees Literary Agency. Her career has brought her much success and it was wonderful to have her return to campus (virtually!) and speak with graduate students currently enrolled in Emerson’s Pop Fiction Program.

On March 27th, Career Services and Graduate Program Director Kimberly McLarin joined forces to support current graduate student writers on their path to personal branding. We chatted with Rebecca about her insights on the topic and its relevance to writers. Topics such as the evolution of online branding and “carving out a space” as Rebecca stated, to share your work were addressed along with ways to connect with readers and the balance required when establishing an online community.
